Samuel Hoiland is a narrative film director originally hailing from Portland, Oregon. His films have shown at festivals in over 30 cities including the academy award qualifying Atlanta Film Festival and Palm Springs ShortFest where he received two nominations. His film Cabin for Two won awards for Best Comedy Short and Best Actor at Filmquest among others. In 2022 Cabin was sold to the sci-fi channel Dust and acquired by Omeleto in 2025. He currently resides in Burbank CA with his beautiful wife-to-be, Victoria, and their dog and cat, Russell and Botitas.
