Your Girlfriend’s Guy Friend
One year ago I got a call from Ken saying he wanted to shoot a night scene or two with a new light set he was gifted, using the beauty of the neon city to fill in the gaps. Never one to squander a chance to make things more complicated, I got started on a script. Less than a week later we were out shooting from sundown to sun-up with a willing cast, a partial script (the actors mostly improvised their dialogue), and some bullied friends to crew the thing. For one night we put our instincts and creativity to the test and the result is what you see. We hope you enjoy.

Cabin for Two - Origin Story
I wrote Cabin for a few reasons, none of which included an imminent quarantine mandate, or the temporary demise of physical dating as we know it. But hey, sometimes you get lucky... More than anything, I wanted to know what the apocalypse might look like for a terminal optimist. What would a Leslie Knope or a Michael Scott do in the face of near-certain annihilation? Imagine Mad Michael or I am Leslie-- show me THAT movie. I figured that if I had a character who could always find the silver lining, then the end of the world might just be all right.
